In December 2005, a member of Oadby Evangelical Free Church organised a Community Painting Day where 48 people painted a section of a Botticelli's 'Adoration of the Kings'. The huge painting, pictured below, was unveiled in the 2005 Christmas Praise service and was also featured in the local media.
Another Community Painting Day was held at the North Memorial Hall on the 22nd September 2007. The finished painting (Joachim Beuckelaer’s "The Four Elements: EARTH") was unveiled during the morning Harvest Praise service on 30th September.
